Juventus Bring In Ex- Italian National Team Manager Luciano Spalletti

The Serie A powerhouse have chosen former Azzurri boss the veteran manager to take the helm for the rest of the term.

The experienced coach takes over from the Croatian manager, who was sacked post the Lazio setback on Sunday.

Tudor arrived at the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but departed after seven months at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, which missed out on the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.

However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.

Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and won the Russian Premier League twice with Zenit St Petersburg.

Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday which left them seventh in Serie A - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.

In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
